Kim, Sung-hun started ceramics because of the unique texture of the soil. After studying ceramics, he gained knowledge and experience about glazes and soil while working as a researcher who developed and experimented with ceramic materials, and he opened his own studio in 2007.

 

After a few years of research, he began to attract peoples’ attention while presenting sentimental colors, unique cup series, and tableware lines. Over 500 glaze samples show signs of his fierce research over the years.​
